Summary

Overall objective of the „Rugby for Children" project is to strengthen the international network of local rugby clubs. The project consortium made of four rugby clubs (RFC Dubrovnik – Croatia, RC Zagreb – Croatia, RC Ljubljana - Slovenia and RC Dragon Brno - Czech Republic) and a universal school of sport (DSR Superkid, Zagreb - Croatia) will exchange good practices through 5 mobility visits and assess their organisational capacities with SWOT analysis in order to improve international cooperation, raise capacities for work in an international environment and most importantly, to promote rugby for children. In the end, they will organise a rugby event for children from partner countries during the European Week of Sport in Dubrovnik (coastal side of Croatia) and provide children a unique international experience of playing rugby and experiencing Dubrovnik as a historical and touristic flagship destination.

Specific Objectives

To identify and share good practices through rugby for children
To raise capacities of local rugby clubs in using rugby
To create a European network of local rugby clubs

Sažetak

Opći cilj projekta „Ragbi za djecu" je ojačati međunarodnu mrežu lokalnih ragbi klubova. Konzorcij projekta sastavljen od četiri ragbi kluba (RK Dubrovnik - Hrvatska, RK Zagreb - Hrvatska, RC Ljubljana - Slovenija i RC Dragon Brno - Češka) i univerzalne škole sporta (DSR Superkid, Zagreb - Hrvatska) razmjenjivat će dobre prakse kroz 5 posjeta mobilnosti i procijeniti vlastite organizacijske kapacitete SWOT analizom kako bi se poboljšala međunarodna suradnja, podigli kapaciteti za rad u međunarodnom okruženju i najvažnije, promovirao ragbi za djecu. Na kraju projekta će se organizirati ragbi događaj za djecu iz partnerskih zemalja tijekom Europskog tjedna sporta u Dubrovniku (obala Hrvatske) i pružiti djeci jedinstveno međunarodno iskustvo igranja ragbija i doživljaja Dubrovnika kao vodeće povijesne i turističke destinacije.
